The site needed to allow farmers to post requirements to the site together with a price they are prepared to pay. The site also allows suppliers to make contact with those farmers if they wish to supply at the requested price.

No contact details are made available directly via site; the site acts as an intermediary during the initial communications between buyer and seller.
